Faculty – Have CDC Visit Your Classroom


   The Career Development Center is interested in partnering with Faculty to offer career-related programming. If you would like to host CDC in your classroom, please read the following criteria prior to submitting your request. We can offer guidance and instruction on career planning and decision making as well as job search topics.

Please complete our "Online Request Form" as early in the semester as is possible.


  • Requests must be made a minimum of three weeks prior to the program
  • Evening workshops must end by 7:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday only
  • Program cannot conflict with any other Career Services program covering the same topic(s) within the same week
  • We can only consider requests that take place when the university is open


  • Program length should not exceed 60 minutes, including a short Q & A
  • Program must take place in official university space (e.g., Robeson Campus Center, Classrooms, CDC Conference Room)
  • Programs must start (and end) at the agreed-upon time


   Contact the Career Development Center and arrange for a Career Counselor to come to your class and talk about topics such as those listed below

  • Resume and letter writing
  • Interview preparation
  • Preparing for application to graduate and professional schools
  • Career decision making
  • Career options for majors of your choice
