The Career Development Center of Rutgers University - Newark, and Career Development Services at the New Jersey Institute of Technology are proud to once again "co sponsor" the RUTGERS-NEWARK / NJIT FALL COLLABORATIVE CAREER FAIR. This is also the 2nd year for our RUTGERS NEWARK BUSINESSS SCHOOL FAIR done in conjunction with the Rutgers Business school.
This Career Fair is an exciting opportunity to meet with dozens of employers, gather important information, and network for both internships and professional positions.
The collaborative event will feature more than 100 employers and is a great forum for learning more about the real opportunities out there and developing relationships with potential employers. A roster of employers (available in October) will provide you with more details and information about the participating employers, and the opportunities that they are recruiting for.
Please register online in advance to expedite your entry to the fair. After you register online all you need to bring is a copy of the completed registration form for entry. If you don't pre-register, you will need to register when you arrive at the event. Be sure to allow yourself ample time and opportunity to speak with recruiters.
The information below can help you increase your potential for success at the career fair.
- Make sure that you have multiple copies of your RESUME. Feel free to stop by the WALK-IN PERIOD to have a Career Counselor review your resume prior to attending the event.
- Your first impression can be very important so in additional to having your resume reviewed you want to present a PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE by dressing appropriately as you would for an interview.
