Internship Information for Students

We continually "develop and establish" internship opportunities for ALL ACADEMIC MAJORS!

CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION ON INTERNSHIP GUIDELINES AND REQUIRED INTERNSHIP FORMS

Internships can be a terrific way to:

  • Help decide/affirm your choice of major / career
  • Gain valuable, relevant work experience
  • Network amongst professionals
  • Integrate academic learning into an experiential setting
  • Earn "Academic Credit" and/or money or BOTH
  • Secure professional employment after graduation

Each internship is different in regards to the requirements an employer is seeking in an Intern. Some employers require the student to be a particular year, have taken particular classes, or possess certain skills (e.g., computer, languages). Overall, the one thing all employers are looking for in hiring an Intern is someone who is motivated, responsible, and very eager to learn.

Internships developed through the CDC may be for:

  • Academic Credit Only
  • Academic Credit and an Hourly Wage [ -or Stipend- ]
  • Paid Only [ -no academic credit- ]
  • Stipend Only [ -no academic credit- ]
